Our Why
Smart women don’t have to do everything themselves.
They know expertise when they see it. And when another woman is excellent at what she does, they hire her, refer her, spend with her, and say her name in rooms she isn’t in.
Where It Started
It started with a choice.
The Hire Women Initiative grew from the experience of a female attorney building her own law firm. As she created the business, she made a conscious effort to seek out women whenever she needed to hire a professional, choose a vendor, or trust someone with an important part of the firm’s growth.
When talented women were available to do the work, she wanted to find them, hire them, pay them for their expertise, refer them, and make sure other people knew their names.
Supporting women isn’t only something we say.
It’s something we do.
It shows up in our dollars, our referrals, our trust, and the opportunities we create. Every time we hire a woman, recommend her business, say her name in a room she’s not in, or choose to spend our money with her, we turn support into something tangible.
